Hi, I'm Renate Jeltema. I was born in Delft. I grew up with art around me and I've never been far from it since. I express myself in art and paint a lot in my spare time. Now I'm working on an exhibition about the chronic illness I was diagnosed with at age 16. Perseverance and the power of life shaped me into what I am today and I am still growing. I am often concerned with the movements of natural elements and how my paintings form and this is definitely visible in the way I work and in my appearance. I am very versatile and have developed a very open mindset that allows me to be free to be who I am.
